Lisbeth (Lee) Schorr headed the health division of the Office Of Economic Opportunity’s Community Action Program, from 1965 to 1967 when the original Neighborhood Health Centers were developed and funded. Ms. Schorr is now Lecturer in Social Medicine at Harvard University, and a Senior Fellow of the Center for the Study of Social Policy. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Aspen Institute's Roundtable on Community Change, and was its founding co-chair.
